Prior to joining Copeland Richards in the spring of 2017, George worked for the United States Department of Justice in Charlotte, as a federal prosecutor with a focus on violent crimes and interstate and international drug trafficking offenses. A former state prosecutor in Georgia and North Carolina, with a breadth of knowledge from time spent with a big Atlanta law firm and as General Counsel at Davidson College, George brings significant analytical, investigative, and trial experience to the firm. George graduated from Davidson and then Vanderbilt University School of Law. His practice now focuses on civil litigation including personal injury and wrongful death cases, and on defending individuals charged or under investigation by federal or state authorities. George, his wife Barbara, and their five children have lived in Davidson for more than twenty-two years.
