Charles B. "Charlie" Melcombe is an Associate Attorney with Copeland Richards, PLLC. Originally from California, Charlie received both his undergraduate and law degrees from Pepperdine University before relocating to North Carolina to practice law.

Prior to joining Copeland Richards, Charlie practiced with a Charlotte-area real estate firm in its civil litigation department, eventually leading the department.  He brings experience in civil litigation, real estate, and business law and enjoys representing and counseling clients across a variety of matters and practice areas.

While in law school, Charlie served as a Staff Writer and Note and Comment Editor for the Journal of the National Association of Administrative Law Judiciary at Pepperdine and completed a judicial internship for the Honorable Robert J. Conrad, United States District Court Judge for the Western District of North Carolina.
